Our 10 Young Composers have completed their package of free one-to-one mentoring with professional composers, who have developed their compositional skills whilst guiding them through the process of writing a new choral work. In May, the Young Composers attended a Workshop, where they had their ideas and sketches worked on by ORA Singers and
Guest Composer, Oliver Tarney, who offered further feedback and advice. 

The Showcase sees ORA Singers perform and record all 10 pieces at the Three Choirs Festival in Gloucester Cathedral, where a Panel of Adjudicators will choose the Winner and Runner-Up. 

The Panel includes Bob Chilcott (Chair), Emily Pedersen, Dominique Le Gendre, and Gavin Higgins.

Online viewers can join the action by voting for their favourite piece. The Young Composer with the most votes will win the Audience Prize.
